Geachte gast, Welkom op de Amsterdamse Golf Club! Op onze club zijn de normale golf- en etiquetteregels van toepassing. Om u zich bij ons geheel thuis te laten voelen verzoeken wij u in het bijzonder nog het volgende in acht te nemen: Het gebruik van mobiele telefoons is niet toegestaan in de golfbaan, in het clubhuis en op het terras. Wij zien liever niet dat u rookt in de baan, maar het achterlaten van peuken is absoluut niet toegestaan! Gebruik daarvoor de afvalbakken, de speciale potjes op de tee (ook voor uw kapotte tees) of zelf meegenomen asbakjes. Correcte kleding in de baan en in het clubhuis (‘smart casual’ vanaf 18.00 uur) stellen wij zeer op prijs! Het repareren van uw divots op de fairways en pitchmarks op de greens is een vanzelfsprekendheid, het repareren van andermans divots of pitchmarks een gewaardeerde handeling. Wilt u het gewas langs de holes sparen en vooral het riet langs de waterpartijen niet betreden? Vlot spelen en achterop komende spelers doorlaten zijn normale etiquetteregels waaraan wij zeer hechten. U dient voor het spelen kennis te nemen van de local rules en de aanwijzingen van de caddiemaster strikt op te volgen. Wendt u zich tot hem als u nog vragen heeft. |

Dear guests, Welcome to the Amsterdam Golf Club! The normal rules of golf and etiquette apply at our club. In order to ensure that you feel completely at home, we would particularly draw your attention to the following: The use of mobile phones is not permitted on the course, in the clubhouse or on the terrace. We prefer if you do not smoke on the course, but if you do, please note that cigarette butts should never be dropped! Please use the waste bins, the ashtrays available from the caddiemaster or an ashtray of your own. We would greatly appreciate if you could wear correct dress on the course and in the clubhouse (‘smart casual’ from 6.00 p.m.)! You will, of course, repair your divots on the fairways and pitchmarks on the greens; repairing other people's divots or pitchmarks would be much appreciated. Please be careful with the undergrowth alongside the holes, and refrain from entering the reeds alongside the water hazards. Playing without delay and allowing players behind you to play through are normal rules of etiquette to which we attach great importance. Before playing, you should take note of the local rules and follow the instructions of the caddiemaster carefully. Any questions should be addressed to him. |
